Minitots are now providing an evening babysitting service, which is available everyday after 7pm. A babysitter is someone who comes to your home and sits with your children while you are out. They will usually carry out duties such as:

All of our babysitters are currently qualified or experienced nannies or nursery nurses. We meet all of our babysitters face to face and they are all CRB checked and have at least two references which have been followed up by telephone.

Minitots require 4 days notice to find a suitable babysitter. Although we will try our best to find a suitable babysitter we cannot guarantee availability, especially at short notice. Babysitters are paid at an hourly rate at the end of each babysit. They must be paid a minimum of 4 hours even if they have not babysat for this amount of time.

Babysitting rates are:

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required upon cancellation of a babysit, otherwise a cancellation fee £20 will apply, which will be passed on to the babysitter concerned. We recommend that all babysitters are met before they babysit.

Minitots keep all clients and babysitters information confidential. Any babysitters’ information passed on to a client by us must also be kept confidential and vice versa. Although Minitots check and meet all babysitters carefully, we offer an introductory service only and will not be held liable for any loss, damage or personal injury resulting from an introduction.

If any candidate introduced by Minitots Nanny Agency for babysitting is employed or used for any other service, i.e. employed as a nanny, then the appropriate fee will become payable.
